We are finally on our way due north on the 2007 Priority Majesty of God Tour! It just so happens that the hotel on our first stop has wireless internet, so I decided to take advantage and share some of our pictures. Today we sang for kids at the United Methodist Children's Home. Many of the kids looked rough around the edges - I imagine that many have been through a lot. They were pretty receptive to the performance, though.
Tomorrow will be a busy day because we have two concerts at two different retirement homes, so I better go get some sleep. Pray for us!

Our entry into the blogging world . . .
Tommy and Casey at Bark at the Park
Since our website isn't up and running, we decided that we would use the blogging world for updates on the happenings of the world of Atkinson in Lexington.
We are all relieved that school is finally out, and summer has started off with a bang. Tyler is off to Mimi's for a week, and Tommy and Mom are packing and getting ready for the youth choir tour to Niagra Falls with Mt. Horeb. We are leaving on Thursday and are really excited!
Our most recent excitement includes an emergency appendectomy on April 22 for Tyler (on Paw Paw's birthday, no less).

Feeling much better now!
