Tyler's First Date

Tonight I took Tyler and his girlfriend, Bethany, out for their first "date" to see "Marley and Me". I hope I didn't embarass him too much by bawling my eyes out in the movie! Here they are at Marble Slab after the movies.

We enjoyed Christmas day at home today - we were all pretty tired from all the travels. Jamie and I enjoyed a long winter's nap this afternoon!

Christmas Eve Journeys

Christmas Eve was a very busy day for the Atkinson family. I had to work that morning and celebrated with my work "family", and then we were off to Barnwell to celebrate with Papa J and Mama Rhette and family. We got back just in time for the 6:00 service at church, and then I went over to Nadene's to exchange with her and her family. Even though it was quite exhausting, I feel so blessed to have so many people in my life to celebrate with and enjoy spending time with them all!!!!

Christmas Celebrations with Mimi

Last night, we were off to Manning to celebrate with Mimi, Oneil, Michael, and Liam. We spent the night in Manning, and then today, we went to the McElveen dinner in Turbeville. We had to rush out after the dinner because there was another reunion, so I actually got some better than normal pictures of everyone outside!
