A day for Celebrations!

• I knew that when our praise band opened church service with "Celebration" by Kool & The Gang that it was going to be a great day for celebrations! It started with celebrating our great week of Vacation Bible School. Then, we were off to Daddy's to celebrate Father's Day and Jamie and Aunt Gayle's birthdays.

Last night of Power Lab

Tonight was the last night of VBS. We had a great time bowling. The kids were really awesome this year!

We had a blast tonight at a local neighborhood pool! The kids swam, ate hot dogs, sang, and heard a great message from Andy. What a great night!

Gardening at Pleasant Hill

Tonight we went back to Pleasant Hill Elementary and worked outside planting some gardens around the portable classrooms. It was quite warm, and the kids worked really hard - the gardens turned out great!

Harvest Hope

Tonight we headed to Pleasant Hills Elementary to help out with Harvest Hope Food bank. After learning about Harvest Hope, we sorted food and toiletries for the food bank. The kids worked hard!

Power Lab Blast Off!

Tonight was the first night of vacation Bible school at church. I am a crew leader for PM offsite. Each night we will have a field trip and do various service/mission projects. Tonight we went to the park and made cards for shut-ins from the church. It was a nice evening, and the kids did a great job on their cards!

Today Tyler got home from a trip to NC with Paw Paw to see Uncle Stephen and Aunt Melissa. He had a really great time! Here are some pictures from their museum visit.
