Special Buddies

This past Sunday was the Buddy Walk, and the boys and I went out to support our Special Buddy, Erin. It was a beautiful day - every year it is like God is smiling down on us because the weather is so good. We had a great time with Erin and her family and friends!

Today I took Tyler and his friend, Brooklynn, to the fair. It was really nice and the lines weren't very long. They had a big time. I rode the Zipper right before we left - I haven't ridden since I was a teenager and I rode with Jamie. It was the first time I heard him pray out loud.

Belated Birthdays in Barnwell

This afternoon, we finally made it to Barnwell to celebrate August (me) and September (Wendy . . . and another nameless sister that played golf instead) birthdays. Wendy and I both turned the big 4-0. We weathered it pretty well, if I say so myself. We had a big time playing Dance Dance Revolution on the Wii.

Work and Play

Jamie and I are both having hectic times with work right now. Jamie is having to work lots and lots of overtime, and mine is more sporadic calls and little spurts of working at home. Earlier in the week, Jamie took a break to repair a leak by the chimney with Tommy. We also spent time with Liam and Cyndi this weekend and went to the park on Sunday.
